Attorney Verification

Last updated: July 22, 2026

Every attorney in the TaylorMade Law network goes through a verification process before they can receive client matches. This page explains what that process covers, what it does not guarantee, and how you can independently confirm an attorney’s standing at any time.

How We Verify Attorneys

Before an attorney is added to our network, we confirm their license status directly with the state bar (or equivalent licensing authority) for every jurisdiction in which they claim to practice. We also confirm the attorney is in good standing and check for public disciplinary history.

What Verification Includes

  • Active law license confirmed with the relevant state bar association
  • Good standing status at the time of verification
  • Review of publicly available disciplinary records
  • Confirmation of the practice areas an attorney is approved to accept matches for
  • Basic identity and contact verification for the attorney or firm

What Verification Does Not Guarantee

Verification confirms that an attorney is licensed and in good standing at the time we checked, it is not an endorsement of any individual attorney’s skill, and it does not guarantee the outcome of your case. TaylorMade Law is not a law firm and does not supervise the day-to-day legal work of attorneys in our network. Any attorney-client relationship, and everything that flows from it, is between you and the attorney you are matched with.

Ongoing Monitoring

We periodically re-check license status for attorneys in our network. If we learn that an attorney’s license has lapsed, been suspended, or been revoked, we remove them from active matching. If you believe an attorney you were matched with is no longer in good standing, please let us know using the contact information below so we can investigate right away.

Verify an Attorney Yourself

You are always welcome to independently confirm an attorney’s license status. Most state bar associations offer a free public “find a lawyer” or attorney-lookup tool where you can search by name and see license status, jurisdiction, and any public disciplinary history.

Report a Concern

If you have a concern about the conduct or licensure of an attorney you were matched with, you can raise it through our Complaint Process, or reach us directly through our Contact page.
